Steel Spiral Sculpture Welded for Garden and Home Decor. Artisan made spiral sculpture is made from thick aluminized strapping welded onto a reclaimed steel chunk. This simple, yet effective design evokes a primitive feel. The spiral is created using a shop tool I designed myself.
Measures approximately 5 1/4" tall. The base is 4" x 4" x 3/8" thick. Spiral measures approximately 4 1/4" wide x 4 3/4" tall.
The sculpture will rust eventually depending on the environment it is kept in. The base will rust quickly and the aluminized spiral could take up to a couple years with the edges rusting first. Both metals are reclaimed so may include some scratches, my grinding marks and so on that only adds to the rustic charm of the piece.
Please note that this item is made with reclaimed, recycled and rescued metal. Exact alloys may not always be known. The sculpture may contain rust, small dips, dents, scratches, grinding marks, etc. that make the metal piece unique. This includes the metal bottom that makes contact with the surface it sits on for display. These characteristics should be expected on a one-of-a-kind piece such as this. This piece may have sharp edges and is being sold for adult use only.
