Handcast Pewter Deer Hoof Pocket Token
Handcast Pewter Deer Hoof Pocket Token. I cast this token from dried cuttlefish bones using unleaded pewter, then ground the edges and drilled a hole for the sueded leather lace. The bone can be carved and cast only once - so each token is an individual creation. Measures approximately 1 3/4" tall by 1 3/8" wide by 1/4" thick (varies) with a 3 1/2" leather lace.
My inspiration for this piece comes from our love of the Whitetail Deer here in Wisconsin. Use the token as a charm in your pocket, hang it on the wall or dangle it in your vehicle. Handmade by me.
